The Max Planck Society is a group of German Research Institutes which
are world-leading when it comes to Fundamental research in natural and life
sciences. They offer one of the most outstanding opportunities for
international students worldwide: The Max Planck Summer Internship program.
Max Planck Summer Internship program is a 10-week research
program for undergrads and postgrads at Max Planck Institutes. Max Planck
Summer Internship program is a fully-funded scholarship that covers student
accommodation, travel costs to and from Martinsried, near Munich, and a Stipend
of about 800 Euro per month. Exciting, right?!
The
program provides enthusiastic, highly motivated international students
interested in life science with a broad range of research experiences and
knowledge that will help them in their careers. It allows them to join the
ongoing cutting-edge, fundamental research in one of the labs at the Max plank Institute of Neurobiology (the future Max Planck Institute for Biological
Intelligence) or the Max plank Institute of Biochemistry.
There
are about 13 labs from which the applicants will choose only 3 in their
application. The applicants shouldn’t contact any lab director directly, and if

be enrolled at the university during the training or have completed their degree
in 2022.
